In this dynamic course, children will explore the fundamentals of fashion design - from sketching their ideas to bringing them to life through hands-on projects. Guided by experienced instructors, students will learn key techniques such as fabric selection, garment construction basics, and fashion illustration.

Knitting + Crochet
Welcome to the fun world of knitting and crochet! In this class students will learn how to create stitches, knots, and loops that can turn into anything they can imagine– such as scarves, hats, bags, home decor, or plushies. Starting with the basics, we will work together to build skills in both crochet and knitting through exploring creativity in designs, confidence in problem solving, and self expression through fiber art!
Throughout this course, students will explore different yarn materials—wool, cotton, and acrylic— as well as which projects will be best suited for each. From there, we will sketch ideas for projects, learn how to read both knitting and crochet patterns and charts, and learn how to create our own patterns from scratch. By the end of this class, through support and collaboration, students will walk away with a special object made with their own hands, as well as a new hobby to enjoy for life!
