We are about education and advocacy for creativity. Our Novato studio was born out of our personal love of art and the importance we see art education brings to all ages. Studio 4 Art's art school was created 20 years ago but our Novato studio for art was a dream that came true in 2008. We use high-quality art instruction and exploration using artist-quality materials for a true art experience. Our unique approach to teaching incorporates traditional art techniques with contemporary twists welcoming all voices to be heard through an open-ended, thoughtful art curriculum. Studio 4 Arts artroom has classes during the school year and camps during summer and whenever school is out. We are also available to bring our expertise into your School for After-school Enrichment Programs, Earn Girl and Boy Scout pottery and painting badges, Fundraisers, Corporate Events, or for Teacher Curriculum Enhancement. Our art room is conveniently located downtown, one exit from Costco and Target, and down the street from Whole Foods, Masa Sushi, Finnegan’s, Mantra Wines, Trek Winery, and are easy access for those in, Novato, Petaluma, San Rafael, and Terra Linda.

This is the perfect studio for those looking for fine art in painting (oil, acrylic, and watercolor), drawing (all dry mediums), cartooning (manga and traditional), mixed media, printmaking (screen and relief), animation, fashion design, and craft in pottery, mosaics, and sewing (hand and machine). We have youth classes and camps for ages 3-12, pARTies for ages 3-12, scout badge workshops, and community events throughout the year.

When it comes to young artists we have a wealth of art educational knowledge we love to share with our students. Our projects and art curriculum are rich in skills and technique, offering an approach that is unique to Studio4Art, truly creating leadership skills through our program. We only use the best quality art materials and explore everything creative. We have been teaching in Novato schools, Petaluma schools, Fairfax schools, Mill Valley schools, and Larkspur schools since 1999. With all of our parties, our attendees get instruction on art techniques while having a whole lot of fun! Instructors are skilled at teaching how-to's in Mosaics, Clay Sculpting, Acrylic Painting, Printmaking, T-shirt batik, Sewing, Collage, and Drawing.
